So beautifully expressed, Diamond-Michael. So many important reminders for me: a sacred urgency… the dance between stillness and expansion, rootedness and freedom… not forcing but flowing… the growth that is born of discomfort… each step an act of devotion.
My husband has been looking for work for 14+ months. Among other things, it has become a masterclass for us on the growth that can come from discomfort. I’m not gonna pretend here that it isn’t easier to focus on the discomfort than the growth! But I do recognize the wisdom—and indeed the necessity—of the sacred dance.
The Tao is my favorite way of seeing what is. ☯️
All the things in nature are together in one place.
Each thing is moved by nature’s pattern.
Signals give direction.
The whole divides in to parts. 🧬
The parts move around and in and out of each other.
Like water flowing in rivers 💦 and oceans 🌊 and changing into vapor 💨 and snow ⛄️❄️and ice 🧊.
The water flows in and out of creatures 🐿️ and plants 🌱.
Every part is circulating, round and round. 💫☄️🪐⛈️🦠🧬🌪️
Things unFold 🌱 then enFold 🍂 .
Everything in the UNIverse fits 🧩 because each part belongs to the ONE whole cosmic song 🎻 and dance 💃🏻.
Beautifully expressed!
I have been a toast for 35years. I think you should read the Tao again. Maybe from its original author Lao-tzu
“[E]nough is a prison”: so true, so painful, so inspiring!
