Wonderful musing. So many great concepts but one word stands out for me because I talk about this a lot. Possibility. And that seems to always have its genesis in a sense of knowing, an intuitive nudge that creates a bit of excitement in the heart and says, "Yes! Look in that direction. It feels right."
I'm really captivated by this article Diamond. You are fussing with something at a layer deeper than how we move through the world. You move through the world with tremendous clarity, wisdom, helpful pacing, wise attachment and detachment, and essential joy. And you are detecting something asking for attention. It sounds like something inspiring you to explore a sense of why, purpose, meaning. Something that connects you, binds you to an energy that includes you and expands beyond you. I would love to know more as you explore.
Having a meeting with my 80 year old self helps me guide my present actions. 🫶 Audacious goals keeps me in present aligned inspired moment to moment fulfillment. We are never stuck. We just think we are. Everything is in flux and in motion. We are changing in fulfillment towards our highest good even though we are sitting still on the meditation cushion.
When I read your posts, I imagine a man with the most calming voice in the Universe talking to me. LOL I always a feel a bit of peace after reading your posts.
Is it time for TCT to go on an Adventure? Kazakhstan? Bhutan? Siberia? The Steppes of Mongolia? All the ancient ways of survival and philosophy are to be found in eastern culture. I can imagine you getting off a plane in one of these places and the excitement it would bring while you are still young enough to travel.
There are so many cultural possibilities in the region. I love watching Chinese opera singers who sing in perfect Italian! Amazing. Also, who knew that Mongolian singers sing country western songs with authentic western voice adaptations that are so like George Strait and others? And the food!
