I have a confession to make.
Amid all of the craziness and uncertainty that is present in this world, there’s only one thing I am focusing on right now which is my spiritual grounding.
Not the news.
Not the circus of politics.
Not the financial doomsday prophets.
Not the endless scrolling, the echo chambers, the fear loops designed to keep us distracted and divided.
None of that…..
Everything else—the chaos, the uncertainty, the manufactured crisis—can swirl around me like a hurricane. But I refuse to be swept up in it. I am not here to be a casualty of the storm. I am resting in the eye of it—still, centered, and unshaken.
This is my priority. This is my One Thing. And maybe, just maybe, it should be yours too.
The Cost of Distraction Is Your Power
In the book The One Thing, authors Gary Keller and Jay Papasan say:
“Extraordinary results are directly determined by how narrow you can make your focus.”
Think about that. Look around. Most people are spinning their wheels, drowning in a sea of distractions, running themselves ragged trying to fix, control, or understand everything going on in the world. But none of that leads to peace. None of that leads to power.
What if, instead of wasting energy on things beyond our control, we committed to the one thing that truly matters—our inner world?
Spiritual grounding is not about ignoring reality. It’s about mastering reality. It’s about stepping out of victimhood and into creator mode. It’s about standing so firmly in our alignment that no external force can shake us.
Because here’s the truth:
If you believe the world is out to get you, you have already given away your power.
If you believe that a political leader is controlling your fate, you have already surrendered your sovereignty.
If you let external chaos dictate your internal state, you have already lost the game.
Me, I refuse to play by those rules.
You Are Not a Victim. You Are a Co-Creator.
The world is not some broken machine rigged against us. It is a mirror. A reflection of our collective energy, our choices, our focus.
The Tao is unfolding in perfect Divine order. Nothing is too soon, nothing is too late. Everything is moving exactly as it should, whether or not we understand it, in the moment.
So the question is:
Are you feeding fear, or are you feeding sovereignty?
Are you amplifying the noise, or are you embracing your stillness?
Lao Tzu asks:
“Do you have the patience to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself?”
This is the discipline. The wisdom. The power.
I do not chase.
I do not scramble.
I do not react.
I wait. I listen. I align. And then—only then—do I move.
Stop Fighting the Waves. Learn to Surf.
Everything feels unstable right now because, well, it is. But guess what? It always has been.
Civilizations rise and fall. Economies boom and crash. Leaders come and go. The collective consciousness shifts. This has been the rhythm of existence since the dawn of time.
So why are we so shocked?
The only thing that has changed is our awareness of the instability. And instead of grounding ourselves, we’re panicking. Instead of flowing with the current, we’re flailing against it.
You don’t have to drown in the waves. You can learn to surf.
That starts with getting out of your own way. With refusing to buy into the illusion of powerlessness. With choosing to ground yourself in something deeper than the noise.
Own Your Spiritual Power. Period.
True power is not found in control. It’s found in alignment.
The world will try to convince you that you are small. That you are weak. That you should be afraid. That you should fight harder. That you should collapse under the weight of it all.
But I say: NO.
I say: RISE.
Rise into your spiritual authority.
Rise into your knowing.
Rise into the unshakable truth that NOTHING—not governments, not institutions, not shadowy forces pulling strings—has dominion over your soul.
The Tao moves through all things. And you are not separate from it.
So I will say this again, for the people in the back:
There is only one thing I am focusing on right now—my spiritual grounding.
Because if I have that, I have everything.
If I lose that, I have nothing.

Love this article! Spiritual grounding is my daily ritual. Is the best way to focus on what’s important. 🙏🏽
I've been leaning harder into my spiritual alignment than I ever have before. Every time I try to listen to a news podcast, I have to turn it off because it's no longer aligned with how I want to feel.
