You know how yummy it feels when out of the blue, someone validates an experience you've had and suddenly you don't feel so alone? Well, your sublime essay has done that for me this morning. Thank you, my friend.

You activated my happy word nerd in special ways today. I can’t remember the last time I came across “circumlocution”. And “bloviate” is a new one to me.

And your use of s-consonance early on, showing how slippery these over speakers slime.

Thank you.

So relevant to what I have experienced as an introvert among extroverts. I simply cannot be around such people although they may be good people I find I must seek space without them as fast as possible. I'm feeling you and the Tao.

Yep, super relatable. I'm pretty conscious of over-speaking in my writing, and I try to stick to the point, but I'm certainly one of those people who can ramble without saying anything if I'm not careful.

"There’s a certain kind of person that makes me wince, not because they are cruel, not because they are ignorant, but because they talk too damn much.

Not in volume, but in volume." <-- That's a darn nice turn of phrase!

I have come to love the sound of silence. As much as I miss waking up with a partner, I don’t miss waking up with someone that needs to fill the air with words and sadly too many folks are not comfortable with silence.
