So now. How to cross the chasm between the urge to “succeed” and this. To just let it go.

View these two poles as “complementary” versus “opposed” to one another. Flip the thinking mind switch off and allow the two to merge and unfold.

"“Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.” Eccliastes 1:2

Everything we plan and try to accomplish, what we try to be, amounts to a fart in a hurricane in the grand scheme of things. In the scope of the universe, of eternity, "What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?" Psalm 8:4. Relax! In the middle of a fierce storm, why be afraid? Where is our faith? Fear accomplishes nothing. Death accomplishes nothing. Enjoy the ride.

As I learn more about Taoism and now Epicureanism from your writing, the more I see the confluence with Tantra.

Tantra also gets a bad rap for the gluttony aspect. More more more! There are differences in Tantric thought between a divine intelligence and the flip side: randomness, chaos, and no significant meaning to life. Either stream of thinking acknowledges the senses and how enjoying life through our five senses is the path to either "finding God" or simply immersing oneself in all that life offers.

Thank you, you've inspired a new post!
