It’s last call at the bar, and 2024 feels like it’s ready to stumble out into the cold night, a little battered, a little wiser, and perhaps a bit tipsy on hard-earned lessons.
I had a huge pivot within the past month about what I am supposed to be doing with my life. I had to let go of what I thought I was supposed to do and listen to the inner guidance of where I should take my life. PIVOT is the key word here!!!
well this is specifically about how I thought I would be writing about one thing - political commentary - when I realized I need to write an allegory to be more effective and reach a larger audience.
As usual, thought-provoking stuff, DMS! I already journal regularly, with a set of prompts that I created. That said, I will check out the link. All the best in 2025, my friend!
I love the chess analogy! Of particular interest is the bishop. It cuts across our orthogonal standard thinking...and yet it is trapped in its own color. Same for the knight, jumping from place to place, but never touching what's next to it. Everything has its strengths and limits.
