Was reading this as I sipped my Peet's, too. Some laughter so early in the morning is good. I use Italian Bold and the Columbia is my special treat when I need one. There is so much to think about this week as we celebrate Thanksgiving with feasting. Food is on my mind, but first - Coffee!

Peet’s coffee …. Hmmmm… I am going to source a bag of this. I have tried many blends of bold strong coffee but, this brand has alluded my coffee explorations.

I use lentils in many of our recipes as either the main focus or as an add-in to bump up the protein.

Peet’s in my opinion is the best coffee on the planet. When you purchase a bag you’ll be officially enshrined at a Peetnik.

Thanks for this ode to lentils and coffee, Diamond-Michael -- both staples in my life. As a matter of fact, I'm sipping on a cup of coffee right now, and savouring every sip.

Do you ever make lentil soup? It's my stand by. I love to cook, and make lots of delicious food, but about once a week or so, I need to make some lentil soup. It's so delicious and nourishing.

I tend not to overthink food, although I make sure that what I consume is organically grown. Food is one of life's many pleasures in my books.

Love making lentil soup as well. In fact, I think I’ll make some today.
