Continuing to think about this... At this point in my life, it's too late to decide which comes first! But maybe simultaneously: do the right thing/detach the ego from the result/while leaving room to readjust what I think the right thing is based on the result, because I need to be strategic in my action and humble about my limits to know what the right thing is.
