Wow. Was first introduced to I Ching in the late 60s - all the rage at my college. Brought back some good memories. Now inspired to reconnect. Thank you!

I was surrounded by people who thought it was important. At the time, every class I took at my small very left-leaning liberal arts college was either to contribute to my passion as a poet or in human behavior, so it was a wide range of interests. I was studying the works of Martin Buber and his collections of Tales from the Hasidim, so other spiritual/religious ways of understanding the world were of interest to me.

In another life I planned to earn a degree in cultural antrhopology.

Being what I call a grateful agnostic, raised in a secular Jewish family, I tend to be pragmatic. I think of the I Ching as an art form, another way to frame the world.
