it's nice to find another wanderer! I've always been a trial and error person. I make things up and see what works. I didn't know this was a philosophy.
I've been finding out that a lot of things that I knew innately were also ideas from larger traditions. there seems to be a collective awakening happening recently.
Aren't we all just "make it all up—as we go?" I don't understand those who already know. Why not just go straight to heaven? You have nothing more to offer. No one can learn from you. That's not how we learn.
Philip K. Dick wrote what is perhaps his best (definitely best-known) book, THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE, consulting the I Ching as he wrote to resolve plot points.
I’m also out here trying to make sense of things without a map, just vibes, mistakes, and occasional magic.

Enjoyed this fresh and honest take, respect for largely unpopular opinion

"Life isn’t a funnel. It’s a field. And it’s meant to be wandered, not optimized." This entire post is so good, and this line really resonated.
Appreciate you saying this. Sometime I feel like this whirling dervish writing about who knows what. 😂
While I do miss some of your posts, I always discover the gold!
Wonderfully well spoken. Thank you, sir.
Thanks for reaching out. I appreciate the feedback. Have a great week!
An Experimental Life. I like it.

Ahh, OK. I’ll have to check that out.
Oh my, how I've been sunk in the I-Ching for a minute now...
The randomness is the best part.
The question is the most important part.
Everything else is what it is I guess.
Playing with the I-Ching is like playing with ancient Ai, except it isn't smart-dumb, it's random coincidence.
