🙏 Are you from my adopted hometown of Chicago? I love the architecture there as well.

Your words about writing daily landed with me today. I have been writing daily for nearly 1.5 years. It’s cathartic and vulnerable, painful and joyful, healing. But mostly, it is now the air that I breathe. Thank you for being here.

You are a remarkable human being, holy smoke (inference intentional, but in the small "c" catholic i.e. "universal" way). Brand new to Substack since mid-Nov. So glad I somehow discovered you here. Looking forward to your good words.

Thank you. When I shut off news and social media and came to this forum, your words and others gave me space and support to feel all the feels, to really learn from them, and to prepare for letting them go before deciding what to do.

Great article, Diamond-Michael. This aligns with my perspective as well, although I am not familiar with Taoist principles. The relationships that I have developed have had a tremendous impact on my life. I won't ever get financially rich as a writer, but my life is richer because of the people I have met here.

Awesome! And ever so true. I’ve met some amazing people here already and I’ve only joined Jan 2024.

I love your image of Notes being your Taoist Pond. That gave me a huge grin.
