You’ve felt it before—that glimmer, that flicker, that pulse in your chest when you’re walking your true path.
It’s not loud. It doesn’t shout. It hums, steady and raw, from somewhere deep in your marrow.
My friend, that’s your bliss. And when you dare to follow it—not just flirt with it, but follow—you activate something ancient, something magnetic. Suddenly, it’s as if the universe leans in with a whisper and says, Ah, you’re ready now.
This is where the Tao Te Ching slips its hand gently in yours.
“When you are content to be simply yourself and don’t compare or compete, everyone will respect you.” — Lao Tzu, Chapter 8
The Tao doesn’t push. It doesn’t sell you on a five-step strategy. It invites you to return to yourself—stripped of pretense, untethered from outcomes. When you live this way, you don’t have to chase connections. They find you.
But here’s the thing no one tells you: this cellular magic—the kind that attracts the right people, the right collaborators, the ones who get you without translation—it only begins when you say yes to the unknown. When you follow your bliss, even when the road is barely a whisper beneath your feet.
Joseph Campbell said, “Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.”
He wasn’t speaking in metaphor. He meant the people you’re aching to meet—the ones who inspire your bones to dance—they’re already out there. But they can’t recognize you until you’re standing in your own light.
So call them in. Not timidly. Not as if you’re unworthy. But as their equal.
Imagine this: you’re sitting around a fire—yes, that fire, the one that’s burned inside you since the beginning of time—with the ones who move you. They’re there: your invisible elders, your angels, your long-dead mentors, your yet-to-meet best friends. Call them in by name. Sit down beside them. Share your idea, your song, your question. Pitch them your wildest dream.
Now hush. Listen.
What do they say? What stories rise up like smoke? What truths do they hand you like medicine?
The I Ching, the Book of Changes, tells us that nothing stays still. Everything moves, morphs, evolves. The very act of asking these invisible allies to join you already shifts your energy. You’re no longer in a room alone. You’re surrounded. You’re witnessed.
You’ve entered I-Ching Hexagram 24: Fu—Return.
“Success. Going out and coming in without error. Friends come without blame.”
This is a homecoming to your essential self, and in that returning, your people come. Not the ones you have to contort yourself for. Not the ones who dim your light to soothe their shadows. The ones who recognize your signal because it vibrates on their same frequency. That’s cellular resonance.
So drop the mask. Let go of trying to be impressive. It’s not needed here. The ones meant for you aren’t swayed by image. They’re drawn to your frequency. They feel your truth. And when you move from that place, you become a magnet. You don’t network—you connect. Soul-to-soul. Root-to-root.
Let this be your invocation: I am ready to be seen by those who see. I am calling in the ones who dance at the edge of the same mystery. I honor the invisible hands that guide me. I walk the Tao, open and unguarded, trusting that all who are meant to come, will.
Your role? Keep showing up. Keep walking. Keep whispering to the stars. The council is already listening.
And when they arrive—because they will—don’t be surprised when it feels like you’ve known them forever. That’s the magic of following your bliss.
It only leads you home.

Do you know the feeling when you are reading a novel that envelopes you in warmth and draws you into a beautiful and vibrant world, then you read a phrase that resonates, as if it is speaking directly to you?
